The global health research community is responsible for ensuring equitable principles and practices are built into the way it conducts research and that it does not contribute to the very structural inequalities it seeks to eliminate. To advance these equitable approaches within the global health research community, this project seeks to understand the institutional conditions that contribute to inequitable practices among researchers and affiliates (e.g., journals, funders, and research institutions and universities), particularly within global health research partnerships between the Global South and North.
